Medway is a non-profit housing co-operative. All residents are members of Medway Housing Co-operative Incorporated, a non-profit organization which owns the townhome complex. The affairs of the co-operative are democratically controlled by the members on the basis of one member, one vote.

All members work together to minimize the costs of their housing and to receive the full benefits of co-op membership.
